Our Company History:
The Promodo Company was founded in 2004 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The aims of the company at that time were focused around the promotion of English language sites within the Russian segment of the Internet and promotion market. Internet advertising within the Russia market was experiencing a boom at that time, but in Ukraine it was just beginning, so the first customers of Promodo were representatives of Russian companies.
2004-2007
These years were associated with а high demand for the services of search engine promotion projects in RuNet, so all our company’s strategic actions were targeted at the development of a Russian-speaking Internet Marketing department. The number of employees at the time did not exceed 10 people. From the increased customer demand coming out of Russia led to the opening of the official Promodo representative office in Moscow. This office still operates and represents our interest throughout Moscow and other Russian markets.
2005-2006
We entered the «Top 10 SEO Company» for achievements in promoting the sites in the western market.
2007
First professional SEO and SEM conferences appear giving unique opportunity for Promodo team to meet the leaders of the market and share experiences. Promodo speakers successfully perform at many conferences like Internet Marketing in Ukraine, Search Engine Optimization and Promotion of Web Sites in the Internet, Business Web, E-commerce websites’ business, and later on Internet Marketing in Ukraine.
Our company is still an active participant of all these events.
2007, summer
Our company moves to a bigger office. The direction of the company opened a welcome opportunity for free development and expansion of the team. Promodo becomes a party to a private business club “SEO and SEM in RuNet” objectives of which were civilized market development of SEM in Russia. The club represents the top 30 players of the search engine optimisation and search engine marketing. Club members produced the first magazine ”Practical Internet Marketing,” one of the authors of the journal was a Promodo employee.
2008
The worldwide financial crisis was a severe and critical period in the development of the company. Complete change of Promodo policy. Company focused on four major divisions in the organizational structure: the department of promotion of sites in the western segment of the Internet, the Department of pay per click advertising and promotion of sites in the Russian segment of the Internet.
Increased demand from customers for the services of web projects creation serves the beginning of web development department.
2009
The company acquires the status of an authorized partner of Yandex, Runner and Meta search engines. Specialists of the PPC department get certified and receive Google AdWords Qualified Individual trust marks and “Certified PPC advertising professional of Yandex Direct”. Active development of the PPC department increased the income of the company by several times.
May 2009
Promodo started our own annual conference “Search engine optimization and website promotion on the Internet.” The conference is held in autumn in the city of Kharkov. The conference received a lot of positive feedback that reinforces the desire to develop this project further on. The same autumn Promodo holds a joint seminar with the company ”Yandex”, which gathers more than 350 participants. By the end of 2009 the work of a professional team of Promodo staff and leaders of Internet advertising market in Ukraine as Rozetka.ua, Weblancer.net, Allo.ua, Bookclub.ua, Foto.ua allowed us to obtain the title of certified partner of Google – Google AdWords Qualified Company .
2010
By the beginning of the year Promodo company is undoubtedly one of the leaders in Internet marketing. The number of employees is more than 30 people.
Increased demand from content projects and e-commerce web-sites leads to the creation of department of “Electronic commerce”, “Usability testing and design,” as well as the department “of the Content marketing projects,” the company aimed at providing quality services to any customer. Since May 2010 our company together with Google has been conducting a series of workshops in the field of PPC advertising and Google AdWords in particular. In summer of 2010 in cooperation with the Yandex company training seminars were held in Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, Poltava. In June 2010, the company has trained its employees at courses:
- “Time Management” (Coach - Alex Kapusta)
- “Usability of online stores” (Coach - Dmitry Satin)
Over 27 industry conferences, seminars and trainings were visited.
2011
At the beginning of 2011 Promodo already has 9 departments. The number of employees has exceeded 50 people. The company has restructured all the sites and the site of Promodo Conference “Search engine optimization and website promotion on the Internet.” The perfect conditions for improving the quality of services through the introduction of automation and debugging of business processes within the company has been created.
The first version of Promodo CMS is released – it is a free framework for building websites and promoting products designed by the experts in SEM that meets the challenges of small and medium businesses.
4 new projects have been launched:
- IT-companies Partnership – under which employees of the department of western projects promotion give a series of lectures on “Search engine optimization for developers” for IT companies of Kharkiv and Kiev.
- SEMcamp.ua – this conference highlighted the principles and peculiarities of work with western audiences, especially search engine optimization and PPC for overseas markets, the issues of web analytics, usability and conversion improvement of existing online campaigns.
- SMM.ua – this conference focused on those who are interested in promoting your company, products or services in social networks, blogs, niche discussion forums and websites.
- Promodo clients’ seminars – these workshops were designed for customers of the Internet marketing services: business owners, project managers, programmers, marketing companies, who wish to obtain complete information on how to increase sales and work with the target audience via the Internet.
In 2011 the company has trained its employees at:
- “Introduction to the methodology of the Adizes” (Coach – Alex Kapusta)
Over 39 industry conferences, seminars and trainings were visited.
